K & R Polybag Inserter System w/Integrated Case Erector
K & R Polybag Inserter System w/Integrated Case Erector
Location:Lake City, PA
Description
Cases are fed, erected, squared, and clamped by the machine side belts. As cases advance to the bag insertion station, the minor bottom flaps are folded while the major flaps remain extended. This method ensures good quality and square cases. The cases then move to the insertion station where the polybags are inserted into the erected cases. Preformed polybags are fed into the machine from a perforated roll. Air actuated mechanical fingers grip, open, and cuff the polybag over extended upper case flaps. Air is removed from the case by evacuation. The bag is placed fully by atmospheric pressure, eliminating air pockets between the bag and case. The lined case is bottom sealed and exits the machine at which point the package is ready to be filled. Simplified controls speed start-up and changeover. After case and bag parameters are established, machine operation is fully automatic. All the operator needs to do is add knock down cases and bag rolls. The unit is 240V and requires 80PSI Clean Dry Air. FOB Lake City, PA.
