Doboy Wrapper; Md# Scotty II with Film Registration

The Doboy Scotty II wrapper can package virtually any shape or size product within the machine size limits at speeds up to 45 packages per minute. It can handle singles, multiples or trays. A wide range of products are easily handled in sizes up to 12" long by 7" wide by 2-1/2" high.

The products are manually placed onto the wrapper infeed conveyor where they are pushed toward the wrapper by the infeed conveyor chain pushers. When reaching the former, the infeed pusher drops away after placing the product into the former and onto the sealing material. The sealing material then carries the product thru the former where a layer of material is formed into a tube around the product with the two mating edges together at the bottom. When the sealing material and product leave the former, the two mating edges of sealing material enter the finwheel section where a pair of rotating wheels seal the two mating edges of material together with heat and pressure. The finsealed material and product then move into the endseal section. In the endseal, a pair of rotating jaws seal and cut the sealing material between each product forming individual packages.
